Dr. Chakrapani B S is a senior consultant cardiologist at Manipal Hospitals, Old Airport Road, Bangalore. He has extensive expertise in interventional, invasive, and non-invasive cardiology and has performed over 6,000 invasive cardiac procedures.
He was among the first group in India to introduce primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction. He has specialised training in nuclear cardiology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and advanced cardiology experience from leading institutes in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
In 2000, he successfully led the “ICCU on Wheels” project in Karnataka, bringing advanced cardiac care to semi-urban and rural populations.
