Dr Subbarao is a senior neurologist at Manipal Hospitals Old Airport Road, Bengaluru, with over 20 years of clinical expertise. She pioneered India’s first memory clinic in 1998 and has since led the multidisciplinary Cognitive Neurology Clinic where she has assessed over 1 000 patients from across India. Her academic journey includes a DM in Neurology and a fellowship in cognitive neurology from the UK, and she is highly active in professional development, research grants and outreach in dementia and stroke care.
