• 09/2008- 09/2009 Senior Resident, Dept. of Pediatrics, Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung hospital, New Delhi, India Training included out-patient and in-patient management of pediatric patients from all super specialties. Critical care of patients in PICU and NICU requiring mechanical ventilation, CPAP and various other life supports. Interventions like paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, peritoneal tap, peritoneal dialysis, umbilical lines, arterial lines.

• 05/2004- 04/2008 Junior Resident, Department of Pediatrics, Bharati Hospital, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune Training in General Pediatrics. The training included a one-year rotation into Intensive Care Unit. Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU: 6 months) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU: 6 months) months. The training also included postings to Super specialty clinics (Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Pediatric HIV clinic, etc.)

Researches

• 2009 – 2010 Study of Non-Inherited Maternal Antigens Study done at the Cellular and Molecular Immunology Laboratory, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.

• Measurement of T-cell responsiveness induced via direct and indirect allorecognition pathways in primates. A study was done at the Cellular and Molecular Immunology Laboratory, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.

• 2004-2008 Clinical Study of Epilepsy in Children Thesis during post-graduation. Prospective study of children aged between 1 month to 16 yrs. This study was done at Bharati Hospital, Pune, India and was conducted on 115 children over 2 years. The relationship between the age of children and type of epilepsy, sex predilection of epilepsy, EEG correlation of epilepsy and Neuro-imaging correlation was investigated.

• A Multicentric Randomized Comparative Clinical Trial to assess the Immunogenicity and reactogenicity of the DTPw-HB-Hib vaccine of GSK in children aged 6-14 weeks. Sponsored by Serum Institute of India Ltd. Pune, India.
