Dr Sriprakash Duraisamy

Dr. Sriprakash Duraisamy is a Consultant in Head & Neck and Skull Base Surgery at Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai. He has substantial experience in complex head and neck ablative surgeries, organ preservation approaches to head and neck cancers, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and laser microsurgery for throat cancers. He also contributes as a tutor to postgraduate surgical oncology students and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals​​.

• Dr. Duraisamy's career includes positions as Senior Resident in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology (2007-2009), and Senior Resident in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at JIPMER, Pondicherry (2006-2007). He also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai (2012-2014)​​​​.

Research and Publications:

• Dr. Duraisamy has authored several research papers on topics such as residual thyroid disease detection, rare neoplasms of the external auditory meatus, giant tumors of the pterygopalatine fossa, myoepithelial carcinoma of the nasopharynx, and more.
