Dr. V. Viswanathan is a senior paediatric neurologist with over 28 years of experience in treating complex neurological and neuromuscular disorders in children. He has served as a principal investigator for numerous NIH and European clinical trials, particularly in paediatric epilepsy and muscle disorders. Dr. Viswanathan is also a founding member of MDA India, an NGO supporting children with muscular dystrophy, and has established a dedicated school for them in Chennai. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in postgraduate teaching and medical research, and contributes to national-level policy and registry development through ICMR.
