Dr. Shantanu Panja graduated from Calcutta University following which he completed his post-graduation in Otolaryngology & Head & Neck Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Following his residency, he pursued the Senior Registrar ship at JIPMER, Pondicherry and worked as a Resident Surgeon at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. Trained in several frontiers of Otolaryngology, he also received advanced training in endoscopic skull base surgery and transoral robotic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, US. A surgeon with a strong academic inclination, he has several national and international publications to his name. In 2010, his research work on endoscopic optic nerve decompression was widely acclaimed and selected for presentation at the annual conference of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Society in Boston. He also received the best surgical video award at the 2011 state conference of AOI (WB Chapter). He holds a special interest in advanced head and neck onco-surgery, minimally invasive skull base procedures, laser and voice restoration surgery. He is a regular speaker and instructor in different workshops and conferences held across the country.
